Look across the landscape of Indiana’s Technology Corridor, and you’ll see renewable energy technologies that are already hard at work. From a total of nearly 1,000 commercial wind turbines, to hydroelectric plants, to anaerobic biomass digesters, to landfill gas generation plants, our region is at the forefront of the practical use of Earth-friendly power generation. And, thanks to several key transmission lines and many substations, we have easy connections to the electric grid.
Purdue University has become a key source of energy research, and the University’s Technical Assistance Program offers practical applications of that knowledge to businesses throughout the state. Ivy Tech Community College serves energy-conscious companies by providing training in renewable energy and efficiency to local workers.
If your company wants to make a significant impact in renewable energy, it’s hard to think of a better business environment than Indiana’s Technology Corridor.
