The nine counties that make up Indiana’s Technology Corridor offer companies an abundance of utility capacity at surprisingly affordable rates. For example, several large aquifers and an extensive network of rivers provide a water supply that’s up to the processing or cooling needs of nearly any company, including those in aquaculture, technology and heavy industry. Our counties and communities also have sewer systems that are sized to accommodate growth.
Electric power resources are also healthy, with a mix of large utilities and local cooperatives that are accustomed to serving the needs of large users (such as food processors and steel producers), as well as those for whom reliability is critical (such as pharmaceutical manufacturers and data centers).
Many of the local utility providers in Indiana’s Technology Corridor also offer a variety of services to help companies identify sites and speed development. Visit the County websites for more information about local utilities.
