The government bodies behind Indiana’s Technology Corridor have a solid understanding of the value that healthy companies create for our communities and residents. That’s why you’ll find a business-friendly attitude flowing through all levels of government.
Instead of creating roadblocks to development, state and local officials work to help companies access the resources they need. For example, Indiana’s Shovel-Ready program expedites permitting and provides extensive information so that sites can be developed more quickly with less risk.
State and local agencies offer generous incentive programs, and income and property taxes are very low when compared to other states. Indiana also has lower costs for Workers Compensation and other business insurance premiums. Plus, we’re a Right-to-Work state with low taxes and a very low cost of doing business.
